In March of 1999, we had the opportunity to purchase an independent agency of Certified Travel.  After careful research and much thought, we purchased it and have been pleased with it ever since.

 

It has been a real pleasure to be part of the Certified Travel group.  I can't say enough about how great our personal representative, Tommie Wolters is.  She is a wonderful person, who is always friendly and willing to help at any time.  She goes out of her way to help you be the best travel agent you can be.  Certified Travel is truly blessed to have such a professional lady on their team.  .

 

This opportunity has been an added asset to our area and also to our present business.  I would highly recommend anybody interested in pursuing a career in travel to do it the Certified Travel Way.  We feel it's the only way to go.

Dear Friends,

For years our company had used travel agencies that looked more on getting our travelers there then the big picture, cost.  In the long run it only added to our budgets instead of giving us a low cost service.  With a travel budget company wide, and almost 80 travelers per week, it makes a big difference how much is being spent out to get the service we need.  

The convenience of booking directly from inside my own office and controlling the amount of flights, hotels and cars makes life a lot easier.  In our industry last minute travel is as common as changing clothes, so convenience is one of my top priorities.

Before joining I had no idea how agents booked travel, with Sabre and the expert training from top agents at Certified Travel it made booking as simple as tying a shoe.  Although I learn things every day, it's as easy as picking up the phone and asking questions.

The staff and support group at headquarters is the most friendly and courteous people that I have ever had an opportunity to work with.  Their professionalism and personal touches make being and independent agent a dream.  Whether I am in my office or after hours, the staff is always there 24/7 to help with anything that I need.

Our numbers are constantly coming down by commissions that we earn and the added bonus of flexibility and picking our own travel.  It helps make this program work for budgets as low as $100 to Millions of dollars.

Anyone interested in saving money and time to book travel for all purposes I would definitely recommend joining this impressive program that Certified Travel has to offer. You will never find a better way to book than this.

I joined the Certified team in July of 2001.  At this time I was looking to start a business in my home that could work around my schedule as a mom.  For several years I had pondered the thought of becoming a vacation planner specializing in Disney Vacations.  Having worked for the Walt Disney company for 4 years only encouraged me further.  I had no idea on how to go about starting my business and the thought of a large cash outlay to start it up scared me.

One day, on a whim, I decided to skim the internet for programs that were available to people who were looking to be "outside" agents for a travel company.  Upon hitting enter with the information in the search engine I was very quickly led to several results from varying companies.  I found myself overwhelmed with the multitude of choices to choose from.

While still working at the Disney Store I ran into an old friend and neighbor.  He and I chatted for quite some time about the Disney Vacation he was about to embark on.  Prior to leaving the store that day he gave me a business card for his business, a travel agency. Throughout the coming weeks he and I conversed about how he had opened and become quite successful with his own agency.  He referred me to the Certified website and Tommy Grayson to start up my own agency.

Since working with Tommy and the Certified team I have found myself not only running my own agency here at home, but also being quite successful at it.  Unlike many of the other agencies that offer an outside agent program, Certified's cost to start your own agency is quite affordable.  There are no hidden charges with this program. Once you have paid your initial start up fee you are on your way to success. Certified's training manuals and training program itself are an excellent resource to any person new in the business.  To take that one step further, the assistance I have received on numerous occasions from the Certified team has been dynamic.  Any time I have questions or find myself stuck I know that someone in the home office is willing to help me out.  Certified stands by its' associates and is there for them 100%.

If you are currently looking or are interested in starting your own home based agency I would recommend Certified and their home based program. This program truly has it all.  If I were not an agent for Certified and I was looking to book travel, I certainly would feel 100% comfortable with the knowledge, expertise and experience of the Certified team.
